Kennet Solutions are working with a regional contractor in their search for a Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Company information:

• Regional Contractor specialising in Modular buildings 

Role Information:

• Work with the Commercial Manager in the implementation/setting up of all Projects CPR’s. 


• Support the commercial team members to ensure that Project CPR’s are kept up to date including forecasts for revenue, turnover and cash inflows along with cash outflows, current costs and forecast final account projections. 


• Assist in obtaining sub-contract quotations for various work packages for projects.

What the Client Requires:

• Commercial awareness and strong numeracy skills.


• Qualified to GCSE standard in English and Maths


• Minimum working towards / completed HNC qualification in Construction. 


• Experience in use of MS Office particularly MS Word and MS Excel


• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.


• Ability to work with minimal supervision. 


• Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role


• Clean driving licence


• Knowledge of JCT and NEC3 / 4 contracts preferred not essential.
